Meet at Aubrey E. Austin Park on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Via Marina for a leisurely stroll along the ocean and then past some stunning homes in Marina Del Rey. Total distance of about three miles. I suggest parking at Marina Del Rey Lot 13, which is on Via Marina. As you enter the lot, keep going to the far end by the ocean to be closer to our meeting spot. Let’s meet for dinner with no agenda except to get to know one another.  Meet at El Cholo, 1025 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, corner of 11th and Wilshire.  We will meet in the lounge at 6:30 and at 7:00-ish move into the dining room or patio for dinner.  I will wear a hat so you can more easily find us.  Valet parking off 11th street or there is a good chance to find street parking on Wilshire. GLAAM is treating us to free seats to the Hollywood Bowl!  Join us for Sibelius and Grieg with the LA Philharmonic. Tarmo Peltokoski is conducting and Anton Mejias will be at the piano.  The concert starts at 8pm, but plan on coming early to join us for a bring-your-own picnic.    Parking fees and/or shuttle tickets are not included. We are now on the letter Het in the Hebrew alphabet. This letter represents the strong H sound coming from the back of the throat and that is found in Arabic and Spanish, though modern Hebrew pronounces it like the German CH. Let's do the country sometimes called Chavash in Hebrew, Habesha by the locals, and which we more commonly know as Ethiopia. This location has been serving fine Peruvian food since 1987 and is still the best and most authentic of the chain. This is NOT the Torrance location.
