We’ll meet at the entrance to the Leonis Adobe historical site and museum at 23537 Calabasas Rd. in Calabasas 91302. It’s immediately west of the Sagebrush Cantina. A longtime favorite South Bay restaurant of mine has been Al Noor in Lawndale. It has been closed for dining in for a long time due to the pandemic but has recently reopened. This place features some unique Pakistani and Indian dishes, including haleem, a chicken and grain stew and one of my favorites, and nehari, a beef shank that is a popular Pakistani breakfast item.
