Science Logic Faith
What is truth? How can someone know if something is true? How does one generation pass truth to the next? What are the various ways and degrees that science claims to know something? We will explore these questions and take a look at the concept of truth. The meetings are open to those of all beliefs and perspectives, not limited to Mensa, and are promoted in several ways so you will meet a diverse audience. Welcome to the GLAAM Spring Picnic on Sunday, April 21, at the Mineral Wells Picnic Area 11:00am-3:00pm. Members and guests are all welcome. Bring games or play equipment if you wish. Food and beverages are provided by GLAAM ... pick your breads, spreads, etc. Meet, chatter, play games, take a hike, or relax and meet new people. Let's do some sushi this time. Let's go to Asaka Sushi and Grill in the Hollywood Riviera. This was one of my favorite places to go to during the pandemic due to its good selection of outdoor seating and location in the retail area. The restaurant is found in an elegant modern greenish turquoise building that used to house a bank. It is in Redondo Beach, at 1870 South Elena Avenue, right at the corner of Catalina.
