Science Logic and Faith: Earth’s physical history
This week we will look at the formation of the earth, sun, stars, oceans, continents, atmosphere, and water cycle. Life will be covered the following week. Earth’s physical history will be compared to what is mentioned in Genesis. Phrases such as “The earth was formless and void” and “Let there be light” will be explored. The meetings are open to those of all beliefs and perspectives, not limited to Mensa, and are promoted in several ways so you will meet a diverse audience. When: Sunday’s 10:00 – 10:55 AM. Community science and participatory science mean the same thing: a collaboration between scientists and those of us who are curious and motivated to make a difference.
