This month we are doing one of Jonathan Gold's 101 favorite restaurants. Guisado's began in 2010 in Boyle Heights serving Mexican food not of the fast food, taqueria, mom and pop restaurant, or sit down place type, but rather true home style cooking. The corn tortillas are handmade and the food tastes very fresh, and the food still comes at a very modest price.
