The acronym “SIGHT” stands for “Service of Information, Guidance, and Hospitality to Travelers”.
It is a long-standing program within Mensa allowing members to connect with and visit other chapters when they are traveling.
Advantages include finding out about local Mensa activities and obtaining travel directions to them, learning about other local attractions available to the general public, and connecting with local members who might be able to assist with housing and transportation and other temporary needs.
If you are planning a visit to the Los Angeles area or points northeast, then please see our Contacts page to find the name and number of our current SIGHT Coordinator, and then call that number to see what we can do to help you!
