Not really a “hike” but there will be some walking involved.    We will meet at noon at The Last Bookstore, located at 453 S. Spring Street.   After checking out the bookstore for a bit we will head upstairs in the same building to have lunch at Spring Street Cafe.     After lunch we will walk less than 1/2 mile to the Los Angeles Public Library located at 630 West 5th Street.   There we will attend a one-hour docent-led tour of the library.  The tour starts at 2pm.  The docent guide will share stories about the history, art, and architecture of L.A.’s landmark downtown library. The tour is free.  RSVP not required but is appreciated so I know to look for you.   Sue Barr sbb_177@yahoo.com or call/text 310-381-9761.
