We are now on the letter Het in the Hebrew alphabet. This letter represents the strong H sound coming from the back of the throat and that is found in Arabic and Spanish, though modern Hebrew pronounces it like the German CH. Let’s do the country sometimes called Chavash in Hebrew, Habesha by the locals, and which we more commonly know as Ethiopia.
