Science Logic and Faith – Thermodynamics:
February 4 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Thermodynamics is possibly the most intellectually challenging series topic, but don’t let that scare you as its presented in a way that non-science people can grasp the key ideas. The first two thirds of the talk will be pure science. Once we have a foundational understanding of thermodynamics, I’ll cover some profound philosophical and theological implications that can change the way you view the world. Thermodynamics is a natural lead-in to the following week’s talk on the Problem of Pain and Suffering. Get a good night’s sleep Saturday night and join us Sunday for a mind-expanding topic. The meetings are open to those of all beliefs and perspectives, not limited to Mensa, and are promoted in several ways so you will meet a diverse audience. Where: Bel Air Church, 16221 Mulholland Drive, L.A., room DC 102. For more info contact Perry Lanaro at ScienceLogicFaith@gmail.com. (MCity/SFV)
